Reveal the review✨ Another golden cast, another chaotic love story — and we’re living for it! ✨
Shorts strikes again with a new comedy-filled enemies-to-lovers gem! This time, we’re thrown into a corporate battlefield where professional rivalry meets unexpected romance — and a surprise Vegas wedding.
👫 The Leads
Gavin – The grandson of the company’s founder. His inheritance and CEO seat are on the line unless he proves he deserves them. He’s confident, a little cheeky, and surprisingly into being married… to his rival.
Victoria – A hard-working top employee with a strong moral compass and a big reason to win: her mother’s medical bills. She’s focused, determined, and not about to let a surprise wedding derail her career goals.
These two are fierce rivals, constantly trying to outdo each other — until one drunken Vegas night lands them accidentally married. 😬 Their boss finds out and decides they need to stay married to protect the company’s image. Talk about a plot twist!
💥 Love, Pranks, and Power Struggles
Victoria tries to escape the marriage, but Gavin? He’s suspiciously unbothered… and maybe even enjoying it. He initiated the drinks, sneakily checked her out, and was way too happy to share a bed. Flirty much?
Their chemistry is undeniable. Victoria might deny it, but those steamy dreams say otherwise. Their rivalry hits both hilarious and borderline-destructive levels — sabotaged meetings, tampered drinks, fake logos… yikes, guys! Not the best for productivity, but certainly great TV.
🕺 Golden Moment
Gavin dancing like a goofball in the hotel room after their first night = comedy gold. Ridiculous but iconic — and because it’s Noah, it just works.
👔 The Boss & The Backstabbers
Cornelius, their boss, is perfection. Fair, firm, and funny. He doesn’t play favorites and has no problem firing them if they cross the line — even if Gavin’s grandpa built the company.
As for Charlotte and Douglas, at first they seem harmless — but plot twist! They were scheming behind the scenes. I appreciated that the show didn’t reveal this right away. We had to put the clues together, which made it even more satisfying.
📝 Final Thoughts
Another win for Shorts! This series is the perfect mix of romance, chaos, and corporate sabotage. The cast is 🔥, the pacing is great, and the promotion? Top tier. Shorts consistently delivers, tags the cast, and creates a full experience for fans. More apps should take notes. 👏👏👏
I had mixed feelings. I loved the interplay between the two leads and their boss, both the romantic and the rivalry. What I wasn't fond of were the tricks that went so far as to lose clients - the missed meetings and misbranding etc. It's one thing to view for a promotion but shouldn't result in losing clients /business. That just seemed extreme at that point. I would have fired them too.
