Reveal the reviewThe storyline is definitely original, and I loved that about it! But I can’t lie—it felt a bit rushed.
Verticals aren’t meant to be ultra-realistic, but this one centered on a very relatable female lead, so the pacing threw me off. A famous celebrity just walking up to a fan at a huge convention, sleeping with her the same night, and then suddenly being in a serious relationship? That’s a stretch—even in fantasy! If Aiden had met Emily more organically, or if they had taken more time before falling into bed, the story might’ve felt more grounded.
That said, I did like their connection. Emily is not a delusional fangirl; she’s grounded, insecure, and genuinely surprised someone like Aiden could fall for her. And Aiden isn’t a heartless playboy either—he’s just stuck in a toxic situation with a manipulative co-star. I actually felt for him and rooted for them as a couple.
The timeline is wild—three days and we’re already talking scandals, confessions, and going public? It all moves faster than a flash-married billionaire plot! But maybe that was intentional, to remind fans this is fantasy, not real life.
Speaking of fandoms: the message in this series really resonated. It touched on how fandom can be a comfort zone, a safe space for escapism and joy. As a longtime fangirl myself, I related deeply. I started my own fan page just for fun, and I never imagined it would bring me such joy, connection, and community. I’ve made friends and found support. This storyline captured that spirit, and I’m so grateful the writer included it.
Final Thoughts:
Despite the pacing, I truly enjoyed this vertical. It’s fun, original, and heartfelt—plus, it celebrates fandoms in a way that feels personal and validating. I’ll definitely be rewatching it!
