Reveal the reviewIf I’m being honest, I was mainly intrigued by this one because of its attention-grabbing title, “CEO, Your Wife Runs Away with Your Six Heirs.” And guess what? It worked! I had to check it out.
Meet the Lead Couple
Evelyn – A quiet, simple woman who unexpectedly gives birth to six kids after a one-night stand. Despite not being wealthy, she raises them well, and they turn out to be incredible kids—who now want a dad.
Ethan – A workaholic CEO obsessed with his job, completely unaware that he fathered six children.
The Storyline
The plot follows a familiar premise: A woman discovers her boyfriend is cheating, has a one-night stand with a wealthy CEO, gets pregnant but never tells him, and they reunite years later. The classic setup.
However, what sets this story apart is the six children. Why stop at one when you can have six, right? The kids are the driving force behind the story, going as far as conducting a DNA test without ever meeting their father. Too smart for their own good!
While the story is fun and engaging, the inconsistencies are hard to ignore. Evelyn gave birth to six kids at once, yet when Noah presents a DNA test, Ethan only acknowledges him at first. Later, he finds out about Finn at school, then randomly accepts Josh as his son too. But what about Lisa and Luke? Isn’t it obvious that if three of them are his, the others of the same age likely are too? Even their grandmother selectively acknowledges only some of them at first, despite meeting all five.
And then there’s Alan, the missing sixth child, shrouded in mystery. He lives separately, makes cryptic phone calls, and seems like a mastermind behind the scenes, yet we barely learn anything about him. Maybe six kids were a bit too much to handle for the storyline.
Drama Overload
Because raising six kids and dealing with a clueless CEO wasn’t dramatic enough, there’s an army of villains conspiring to get rid of Evelyn and the children. At times, it feels like too much drama packed into one story, making it overwhelming.
Final Thoughts
Despite its logical inconsistencies, I still enjoyed this one. The kids stole the show, adding charm and humor to the plot. I just wish the story had been a bit more coherent in its execution.
