Since I took a weekly subscription for ReelShort, I made a list of series I wanted to check out — and this one was first in line, mainly because Sarah Noelle is the lead! 🎬 And since I’m a total geek, I’m always excited when technology is involved in the plot!

The storyline here blends several classic tropes, and honestly, it worked pretty well.
Alice is secretly the world-famous hacker “Glitch,” hiding her true identity while working undercover as a technical support agent. Sadly, her own family doesn’t appreciate her — they even imply she’s not pretty. (Excuse me, are they blind?!)

She meets Grant during a disastrous arranged date, where he heroically helps her escape. 🏃‍♀️💨 Later, after getting unfairly fired by a company that had no idea about her real skills, Alice ends up being hired by Grant himself — who just happens to be a rich, handsome CEO. 👔

Of course, if things were easy, it wouldn’t be a Vertical drama! 😉
Alice and Grant marry quickly — Alice to dodge more ridiculous arranged dates, and Grant because his grandmother will only agree to life-saving surgery if he ties the knot. Perfect win-win, right?

Wrong — because Grant’s family (meaning his sister) doesn’t plan to let them live happily. His sister and his ex team up against Alice, but thankfully Anson falls for Alice first and truly has her back. ❤️ But Grandma is on her side after she tested her!

Alice struggles with deep insecurities after years of being told she wasn’t enough. Watching her learn she’s worthy of love — and seeing Grant believe in her without question — was beautiful to watch. Girl, you rock, and you deserved that happy ending!

✨Funny moment worth mentioning: When Grant visited Alice’s dad, he was formally announced before entering the house — who even does that anymore? 😂 But it made for such a fun, charming scene!

Final thoughts:
This series is cute and heartwarming. It doesn’t score huge points for originality, but it definitely delivers an enjoyable ride with a great cast and a sweet romance. 💖 A perfect way to kick off the weekend!
