Reveal the review

I haven’t watched many Vampire Verticals yet, but I have a few lined up. This one was at the top of my list thanks to Brooke, Nick, and Kyra, and I’m glad to say—it didn’t disappoint!

The storyline is reminiscent of werewolf plots I’ve seen, just adapted for vampires. And honestly? It works really well.

The Lead Couple

Heather – An orphan and (supposedly) human, forced to work as a maid for a powerful vampire family. She endures everything simply because she has nowhere else to go. Her loneliness at the beginning was heartbreaking.
Theo – A powerful, elite vampire. Handsome, strong, and, of course, the perfect savior.

The Drama Queen

Fiona – The delusional vampire who thinks she’s better than everyone. She wants Theo, so in her mind, she deserves him—whether he wants her or not.

The Impossible Love Story

Considering their different statuses, a romance between Heather and Theo seemed out of reach. But love ignores social barriers. Their attraction was undeniable from the start, yet neither acted on it—until the blood oath.

Heather, understandably, was hesitant—after all, vampires had bullied her for years. But through Theo (and Liz), she realized that not all vampires are like the Blake family.

For Theo, it was about finding the girl who once saved him as a child. Too bad he didn’t recognize Heather sooner. Luckily, fate had its own plans!

Other Characters Worth Mentioning

Liz – One of my favorites! She was kind to Heather from the start, proving not all vampires are like Fiona or Samuel.

Samuel – A coward. He didn’t agree with how Fiona treated Heather, but he never stopped her either. Then, after years of ignoring her suffering, he confessed his feelings? Sir, you stood by and watched—how did you think this would work out?

Elphaba & Zeph – The hidden sorcerers. It’s sad they had to live in fear after the war. I found it ironic that Fiona, who hates sorcerers, praised Zeph’s cooking—without knowing he was one!

A Funny Moment for You

When Theo was tied up with a rope, it was painfully obvious that it wasn’t restraining him at all. Honestly, Nick, you should’ve just broken free sooner!

Final Thoughts

A classic Vertical plot, but well-executed with a fantastic cast! Nick and Brooke had great chemistry, and now I have to check out their new series. And Kyra? Absolutely nailed her villain role—she plays both sweet and evil so well!
