My Review

Reveal the reviewWhile the storyline follows a familiar path, I still really enjoyed this one!
This is a classic Vertical drama—a woman betrayed by her boyfriend and sister, drugged, and unknowingly spending the night with a stranger. The villains even thought she was dead! But five years later, she returns, now a powerful CEO, hiding her identity… and with a son no one knows about.
Meet Our Leads
- Harley – She’s had enough of Ivy and Gavin’s betrayal and is back for revenge. Mess with her at your own risk!
- Nolan – Surprisingly funny, his “poor escort” act was hilarious. But unlike most clueless male leads, this guy did the math and got a DNA test in record time—without even meeting his son first. Impressive!
Meet the Villains
- Ivy & Gavin – The ultimate backstabbers. They thought they got away with it, but karma is coming!
Robyn & Adam – A villainous duo made in heaven (or hell?). Great job to you two, you are clearly my favorite Meanie Duo!
The Parents
- Eleanor (Nolan’s Mom) – Controlling but not entirely unreasonable. Still, thinking she could just take Ethan away from his mother? Sorry, Grandma, but that’s a hard no.
- Victor (Nolan’s Dad) – A complete failure as a father. Instead of working harder, he let jealousy consume him when his own father passed the company to Nolan. Forcing him into marriage as revenge? Pathetic.
Meet the Cutest Scene-Stealer
Ethan – Though we didn’t see much of him, this kid was gold! His line: “Show me the marriage certificate, or I won’t buy it” had me cracking up. Smart, sassy, and adorable—Logan nailed it!
Final Thoughts
The plot might not be groundbreaking, but the cast made it shine. Crystal brought a fierce, independent energy to Harley, and her chemistry with Gabe worked perfectly. The story had a great balance of revenge, romance, and drama, with villains that truly delivered. If you love this type of storyline, you won’t be disappointed!
