Reveal the reviewI’m so glad I made time for this one! Alexa and Adam as leads? Honestly, I never pictured them together, but it turned out to be a brilliant pairing!
The storyline borrows from several Vertical classics—so if you’ve been here a while, you’ll definitely catch some familiar tropes. But that doesn’t make it any less enjoyable.
💕 The Leads:
What started as a sketchy, orchestrated one-night stand (thanks for that, Jason 🙃) turned into a beautifully chaotic journey toward true love. William and Anna felt destined to cross paths, even though this isn’t a werewolf series—fate clearly had a plan. While both were hesitant at first, they gradually leaned into their connection.
Communication, however, was rough in the beginning. Inner thoughts? Great. But how about actually saying them out loud? That would’ve saved them some serious drama.
William really stood out. Not only did he insist on marrying Anna, but he saw through Kayla’s toxicity immediately, even apologizing after investigating Anna’s past. His intentions were pure, and it shows—he’s a genuinely good man.
Anna struggled with confidence, which makes sense considering how toxic her upbringing was. Kayla tore her down constantly, so it’s no surprise she didn’t know her worth. Thankfully, she ended up with someone kind and supportive, which saved her from potential abuse.
Let’s also not overlook that auction scene—William dropping five billion dollars on a necklace for Anna?? That’s wild. Generous, romantic, and completely unnecessary… unless you’re madly in love. (William, if you’ve got money to throw around, I’ll send my bank details. Not five billion, but 10K? I’d be thrilled.)
😈 The Meanies:
Kayla ranks as one of the worst moms in VertiLand. Jolene nailed the role, but wow—switching daughters and abusing the fake one? Then letting your “real” daughter bully her too? Pure evil. There’s no redemption arc here.
😬 The (Weird) Bestie:
Jason… I don’t even know where to begin. Matchmaker of the year? Maybe. Criminally questionable? Also yes. Drugging your best friend and paying someone to sleep with him is not romantic. Intentions aside, dude—you need therapy and a legal advisor.
🤔 Lesson of the Day:
Apparently, in VertiLand, if a man is drugged, the solution isn’t taking him to the hospital—it’s sleeping with him and having his kids. Noted. 😅
🔚 Final Thoughts:
Call me Detective Aline—I guessed every plot twist before it happened! Maybe I’ve just watched too many Verticals. Still, it’s a fun mash-up of familiar favorites. That said, I’m ready for more original stories. The Vertical Space has so much potential, and it’s exciting to see more creativity breaking through. Let’s keep that momentum going!
