My Review

Reveal the reviewBefore diving in, a huge shoutout to DramaBox for two things:
- Creating BL verticals! 🌈
- Giving us a Part 2!
So many verticals leave us hanging with cliffhangers, and while Part 1 of this story had a solid ending, I’m beyond thrilled we got a continuation. Lucas and Wyatt deserved more screen time, and we got it!
Recap of Part 1 – The Fake Love That Became Real
I won’t do a full review of Part 1 (yet), but here’s a quick refresher:
Lucas faked a relationship with a complete stranger—Wyatt—to escape an arranged marriage his father had planned with Sophia. What Lucas didn’t know was that Wyatt was actually an undercover agent investigating his company. One fake marriage later, real feelings emerged, and after a whirlwind of drama, betrayals, and a corporate takedown, Lucas and Wyatt fell in love for real. Wyatt saved Lucas’s company, Sophia went to prison, and her father died in the process.
Now, onto the real deal—Part 2!
From Excitement to Frustration – Damn You, Wyatt!
I was so excited to see them again, but from the start, my heart ached for Lucas. He’s loyal, kind (sometimes too much), and completely devoted to Wyatt. He defended him even when he was hurting inside. And while I know Wyatt is a good guy who genuinely loves Lucas, the way he treats him sometimes? Unacceptable.
Wyatt, I wanted to punch you—multiple times! Lucas is too nice to do it properly (though he did land a weak one at some point).
Gaslighting? Big No-No!
One of the most frustrating moments? Wyatt asking Lucas:
“Is it so hard to trust me?”
Excuse me, WHAT?! Dude, you’re the one constantly breaking promises! Lucas had every right to feel alone and abandoned. Yes, your job is important, but so is your husband! Missing one event might be forgivable, but three? And after ditching him repeatedly, you promised to make it up to him… just to let him down again. How do you expect Lucas to just accept this?
Honestly, Lucas was already too patient. Apologies and sweet words don’t erase neglect, Wyatt!
The Fights That Needed to Happen
Seeing them fight was heartbreaking, but necessary. Wyatt needed a wake-up call—he was hurting Lucas without even realizing it.
But the worst part? Instead of listening and trying to fix things, Wyatt just said “Fine” and walked away. Seriously?! Lucas was opening his heart to you, and that’s your response? If he weren’t so deeply in love, you’d have lost him for good.
Their Actual First Date – Finally!
Can we talk about the fact that their first real date was at the carnival? After everything, it took this long for Wyatt to slow down and enjoy time with Lucas. Watching them have fun—laughing, being carefree—was so refreshing!
And Wyatt? Clearly loving every chance to show off. Meanwhile, Lucas was simply enjoying the rare, precious moment with the man he loves. Seeing him smile like that? Pure joy.
Team Rocket 2.0 Is Back!
Am I the only one who sees Sophia and Jason as the Jessie & James of this story?
They’re villains, sure—but they’re also kinda ridiculous. Like Team Rocket, they always fail spectacularly. To be fair, this time, they almost succeeded, but… well, so did Team Rocket that one time.
(Side note: I now can’t stop imagining Jeff with a blue wig. Sorry, not sorry.)
A Kidnapping That Forced a Reunion
If there’s one good thing about this kidnapping, it’s that it brought Lucas and Wyatt closer again. But honestly? The fact that they needed a life-threatening situation to reconnect is just sad.
Wyatt’s Fake Death – My Heart Stopped!
For a moment, I hated the production team. Seeing Lucas break down? Heart-wrenching. I refused to believe Wyatt was dead, but the cemetery scene almost convinced me.
So when Wyatt reappeared? Relief… but also rage. Why would you do that to Lucas? And why wait days before revealing the truth? Dude, your excuses were weak! You love to test my patience, don’t you, Wyatt?
Final Thoughts – Frustrating Yet Adorable
Despite my frustrations (mostly directed at Wyatt), I loved this vertical! The love story was sweet, the drama kept me hooked, and that wedding scene? Perfection.
To all platforms out there: Give us more BL and LGBTQ+ verticals! We need more love stories like this! 🏳️🌈
