Reveal the review

Finally watched it—and I’m so glad I did!
This one had been sitting on my watchlist since its release, and I was just waiting for the right moment. Today was the day—and wow, what a touching story. Let’s dive in!

Meet the Leads

Amelia – One of the kindest characters I’ve seen in a Vertical drama. She’s warm, caring, loyal, and truly good-hearted. Despite growing up in a toxic household, she remained gentle and resilient. Her dream is simple: a peaceful life filled with love—and she truly deserves it. Losing her husband just after finding out she was pregnant? Absolutely heartbreaking.

Anthony – The mysterious, stoic heir. At first glance, he seems cold, but beneath that composed exterior lies a thoughtful and romantic soul. He’s dedicated to his family, and his subtle gestures—like the thoughtful gifts he sends to Amelia—reveal a much softer side.

What I Loved Most

The Slow-Burn Romance
I adored how naturally their relationship developed. It wasn’t rushed. For Amelia, Daniel was the love of her life, and acknowledging her feelings for his brother felt like a betrayal. But eventually, she accepts that love can come again—even if it looks different.
As for Anthony, falling for his late brother’s wife wasn’t easy. But with a little encouragement from his mother, he embraced his feelings. Love really does find a way.

Maria – The Real MVP
Anthony’s mother stole the show in many scenes. From the start, she welcomed Amelia with open arms—no judgment, no prejudice, just genuine support. A powerful, respected woman with a compassionate heart. We love to see it!

Minimal Drama (In the Best Way)
Yes, there were minor tensions—Amelia’s awful family and the shallow Brandy—but they never overshadowed the central love story. I appreciated that the focus stayed on the emotional journey between Amelia and Anthony.

Adorably & Awkward Moments

  • Anthony preparing tea for Amelia? So sweet.
  • The private pilates session? Hilarious!
  • But the best moment? Anthony’s romantic confession, switching from English to Italian—pure perfection.

What Could’ve Been Better

Some plot threads felt underdeveloped. For instance, the reveal that Amelia’s family isn’t her biological one didn’t really impact the story. It could’ve worked if there was a subplot about her real family, but as it stands, it felt unnecessary.

But the biggest issue? That ending.
They kiss, Amelia gives birth (we don’t even learn the baby’s name!), they visit Daniel’s grave, Anthony promises to protect them, and Amelia simply says “Thank you”… and that’s it? Seriously? We need a Part 2! We want to see how their story unfolds now that they’ve embraced their love.

Final Thoughts

Even with a somewhat abrupt ending, I really loved this one. And let’s be honest—Nick and Brooke’s chemistry? It feels like cheating at this point. It’s almost unfair to other on-screen couples!

To any producers or writers out there: please give us a sequel! We need more of Amelia and Anthony’s story!
